Owt is a game where you photograph things and they become trading cards that fight. This page says what the game keeps about you, why, who else is involved, and how to delete it.

What we keep

• Your account. When you sign in with Google or email: your email address, your name and your profile photo from Google, and the gamertag you choose.
• Your photos. Every photo you take to make a card is stored on our servers, along with the cards made from it and every evolved version.
• Your game. Your cards, wad, levels, jobs, evolutions, fights, trades, friends and league record.
• Your device. A random device id, the kind of device and app version, when you open the game and which notifications you tap, so we can fix problems and see what gets used.
• Notifications. If you turn them on, the token your phone or browser gives us to deliver them.
• Your network address, briefly, to stop any one person flooding the game with requests.

Who else is involved

• Google Gemini looks at your photos to name and describe each card, to check they are suitable, and to draw evolutions. Photos are sent to Google's API for this and nothing else.
• Google Firebase handles signing in, keeps your cards in sync between devices, and delivers notifications on Android.
• Netlify hosts the game and stores the photos and game data.
• Google AdMob shows optional ads you choose to watch for a reward. It may use your device's advertising id, and asks your consent where the law requires it. You can play without ever watching one.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for anything except running the game.

What other players see

Your gamertag, your profile photo, and the cards you fight, trade, gift or share, including their photos. Photos our checks decide should not be shared are never shown to other players.

Photos withheld for safety

If a photo looks unsuitable to share, it is kept apart, never shown to anyone else, and may be reviewed by us to keep the game safe.

How long we keep it

For as long as you have an account. Usage logs are kept for up to a year.

Deleting your account

In the game: More → Delete my account. Your cards, wad, gamertag, profile photo, jobs, evolutions, notification registrations and the photos behind your cards are deleted straight away, and then your sign-in account. Two things are kept: photos withheld for safety (until they have been reviewed), and fights and trades already shared with other players, which belong to their games too. Can't open the app? Children

Owt is not made for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
